William M. Hodges, Chairman, CEO, President and Co-Founder of Hodges Ward Elliott, has been involved in all phases of the firm’s development and management since its founding in 1975.

Mr. Hodges holds a BA degree from LaGrange College, Georgia where he served as a member of the LaGrange College Board of Trustees for 16 years (1998-2014) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for seven years (2007-2014).  In May 2014, Mr. Hodges received an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities.

Mark joined Hodges Ward Elliott in 1983. Mark has sold more hotels than any other individual in the United States. Since 1992, he has personally sold and/or financed approximately 1,050 hotels, totaling 212,000 rooms, with a dollar volume over $28 Billion. 

Mark is currently a member of Industry Real Estate Finance Advisory Council ("IREFAC"), Jack A. Shaffer Financial Advisor Of The Year, “C. Everett Johnson Award.” Mark has been a speaker at the Harvard Business School.

Jim entered the profession with Deloitte, gained extensive experience with the Zaremba Group, a national real estate developer and has been an integral part of management for nearly 30 years.

He is an Eagle Scout, holds a CPA Certificate, and has earned real estate broker licenses in ten jurisdictions.  He holds a BBA – Accounting, Summa Cum Laude from Kent State University and an MBA – Finance from Georgia State University.

Since joining HWE in 1996, Pete has become one of the leading producers within the firm and the hotel investment sales and financing industry.  He has teamed with Partner Mark Elliott to close sales and financing transactions totaling over $20 billion in volume during his tenure with the firm.  With a strong background in finance, Dannemiller is primarily responsible for HWE’s debt placement activity, which has totaled nearly $3 billion over the last 7 years. 

Pete has been a speaker/panelist at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS), the Atlanta Hotel Investment Conference, Hotel Asset Manger’s Association (HAMA) Conference, The Lodging Conference, the Midwest Lodging Investment Summit, Meet the Money, and NYU’s International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference and has been quoted in Hotel Business, Real Estate Forum and Lodging Hospitality magazines as a hospitality brokerage expert.

Pete holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Emory University.


John Sonnier SVP

John Sonnier

John has over thirty years of experience in the hospitality industry. His past positions have included development and acquisitions, business development, operations and consulting. Throughout his career, he has been involved with virtually every type of hospitality project including resorts, conference centers, convention centers, full service hotels, select service hotels and food and beverage establishments. John's resort experience is extensive and incorporated time share, whole ownership condominiums and hotels and his market experience includes all of the continental United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, Canada and Hawaii.

John brings a unique perspective to real estate brokerage and investment banking with his extensive background in development and acquisitions; he has an intimate knowledge of the factors driving a buyer's purchase decision.

A Senior Vice President with Hodges Ward Elliott since 1999 and an integral member of Mark Elliott's team, John has worked closely with Mark on some of HWE's largest assignments as the lead manager. Recent transactions include the representation of a client for the sale of 37 hotels in the 5 separate transactions, the largest of which was a portfolio of 29 of the client's select service hotels to a single buyer for over $292 million; the sale of the Westin Atlanta Airport 

for $74 million; two separate transactions in Tampa, FL for over $86 million and the sale of the Indigo Atlanta Midtown, the first Indigo ever developed.


Rudy Reudelhuber Managing Director

Rudy Reudelhuber is Executive Vice President of Hodges Ward Elliott and is based in Orlando. He has been directly responsible for over $1 billion in transaction volume since he joined the firm in 1998. In 2004 he was responsible for the establishment of the firm's European operations as Managing Director of HVS Hodges Ward Elliott in London before returning to the US in 2008.

Mr. Reudelhuber has completed transactions in the United States, England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Austria. While his experience is comprised primarily of disposition advisory assignments, he has also been paid fees to conduct operator searches and lease negotiations and to deliver broker price opinions.

Prior to joining Hodges Ward Elliott, Mr Reudelhuber was an analyst in Hong Kong with Trust Company of the West which was responsible for management of a $1.3 billion portfolio of global emerging market investments. He began his career at UBS in New York city where he was a member of the corporate finance investment banking team with a focus on mining and metals companies. Mr Reudelhuber is a member of the LifeWork Leadership Network in Orlando and is Treasurer of St Stephen the Protomartyr Orthodox Church.

Mr Reudelhuber graduated with honors from Princeton University with a degree in East Asian Studies.


Jeff Berkman SVP

Jeff joined the firm in 2007 and works on Senior Managing Director Mark Elliott’s team, which has completed more than $8 billion of hotel transactions over the past 5 years.  Jeff’s responsibilities include the production of marketing materials, due diligence, transaction management and sales.  

Prior to joining HWE, he was a Senior Underwriter for the capital markets group at CW Capital, LLC.  Jeff has held real estate positions including consultant/contract underwriter at Mortgageramp (GMAC Commercial Mortgage), Director for United Systems Integrators (corporate services), Analyst at ING Investment Management and Tenant Representative at Icon Commercial Interest and Richard Bowers and Company.


Todd Ratliff SVP

Todd Ratliff

Todd joined Hodges Ward Elliott in 2003 and spent his first five years with the firm selling focused service hotels and golf courses. In that five year period, he structured the sale of 33 hotels and three golf courses including three transactions with TIC sponsors in 2007 representing an aggregate value of nearly $500 million . In 2008, Todd was paired with partner Bill Hodges and today facilitates dispositions, financing assignments, valuations and other engagements in tandem with Mr. Hodges.

Prior to joining Hodges Ward Elliott, Todd served as a principal of an Atlanta-based commercial real estate information services company. He is a graduate of Clemson University with studies in Economics, Political Science and international studies in Spain.


Clint Hodges VP

Clint Hodges joined Hodges Ward Elliott (HWE) in January 2007 after graduating from Mercer University with a business degree. During his first two years at HWE, Clint was a member of the full-service division and focused on analytics, managing the deal flow process, and assisting in the closing of over a billion in hotel transactions. In September 2009 Clint moved to the select service team and focuses on deals in the Southeast that valued At $20 Million or less. Representative transactions of Clint's experience include the Savannah Hawthorne Suites Savannah, GA, The Hampton Inn Newark, NJ, The Hampton Inn College Park, GA and The Hampton Inn Raleigh, NC.


Jay Morrow VP

Jay Morrow

Jay joined HWE in 2008 and has distinguished himself as an invaluable member of Senior Managing Director/Partner Mark Elliott’s team, which has sold or financed more than $8 billion worth of lodging properties over the past 5 years.  Jay’s responsibilities include portfolio transaction management, sales, REIT analysis, and financial modeling.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University where he was a four-year letterman and two-year captain of the Men’s Baseball team.  He resides in Atlanta with his wife and daughter.


Michael DiPrima SVP

Michael DiPrima

Michael joined HWE in 2005 as an Associate with responsibilities including financial analysis, development of marketing materials and research.  In 2010, Michael partnered with Senior Managing Director Mark Elliott, and today facilitates dispositions, financing assignments, valuations and other engagements.  

Michael has been involved in over $8 billion in transactions and spearheads the HWE business development platform for the Western United States.  Representative transactions include the Bacara Resort and Spa - Santa Barbara, CA, Marriott Del Mar, CA,  Hilton Garden Inn Tampa, FL, Hampton Inn Portfolio (Atlanta Airport, Cumberland Mall- Atlanta, GA and Raleigh, NC), Hampton Inn Dearborn, MI, and the Royal Plaza Hotel Orlando, FL.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Art degree in International Business from Pepperdine University where he was a four-year letterman and captain of the nationally ranked Men’s Golf team. 


Rebecca Wynn Senior Analyst

Rebecca Wynn is the lead financial analyst for Hodges Ward Elliott. She has been with the company since 2000, responsible for constructing and maintaining complex financial models. She also works in tandem with the sales agents in developing forecasts, capital structures, and return analysis for various projects, ranging from smaller extant Limited Service hotels through large international resort developments, and multi-state portfolios.

Rebecca's experience includes working for Comerica Bank in Detroit, Michigan as a floating analyst, with concentrations in Real Estate, mid-range companies with annual sales between $10 and $25 million, and work-out deals. She then worked for Greentree Financial as an underwriter for manufactured home communities until she joined HWE.

Rebecca graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Michigan State University.


Nate Ries Associate

Nate Ries

Nate joined Hodges Ward Elliott in 2012 and previously interned with the firm.  As a member of CEO Bill Hodges' team, his primary responsibilities include the production of marketing materials, hospitality industry analysis, market research, and due diligence.  Prior to joining HWE, Nate worked as an analyst at Revenue Analytics, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in price optimization and revenue management for Fortune 500 companies.

Nate graduated from Duke University, where he earned a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in History.


Michael Tormey Associate

Michael Tormey

Michael joined Hodges Ward Elliott in 2013. As a member of Senior Managing Director/Partner Mark Elliott’s team, his responsibilities include the production of marketing materials, market research, and logistics. Prior to joining HWE, Michael served as an acquisitions intern for Dolce Hotels and Resorts, where he was responsible for market research and feasibility analysis.

Michael recently graduated from Cornell University with Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration, as well as a Minor in Real Estate.
